Earlier this month I was lucky enough to receive an invite to the Kids Business’ Bloggers Brunch, held annually in Sydney.
For anyone starting out in this industry as a parenting blogger or social media influencer, this is a great opportunity to dip your toes and get a feel of the waters before totally submerging yourself. Even as a well seasoned blogger you have a lot to gain by attending.
The Kids Business Bloggers Brunch really stepped up to the plate (pun intended) and catered to us all (I’m on a roll), making sure the morning was a Mamma friendly as possible. For those who had little ones tagging along or attached at the hip, they provided designated play areas and Nannies to look after the kiddies while we got to network and brunch without disruption.
We spent the morning mingling with other like minded bloggers, networking with businesses that align with our audience and were treated to A guest speakers segment that left us in inspired and motivated.
Having the opportunity to jump on a plane, spend a couple of days with close friends and our littlest babes attached in Sydney, make new contacts, be inundated with a wealth of knowledge by industry professionals and meet face to face with women I have come to call my friends through blogging and social media circles are without a doubt the highlights of the experience.
If you have ever been I’m sure you can agree, and if you haven’t had the chance yet then I urge you to get in touch with Kids Business and express interest to attend their next one which I believe will be in held November in Melbourne.
